Are you a small or medium firm ACA qualified Audit & Accounts Senior looking to upgrade to a larger firm and receive training and support so you can carry out more audit assignments and lead larger audits from planning to completion? Are you looking for a firm which will provide structured training and progression to ease you into your next role? Are you looking to join a very good quality, medium sized accountancy firm with around 60 staff based in a prime location in Londons trendy West End? Are you looking to join a firm in a newly created role due to growth and start 2021 in an exciting new position? Are you looking to carry out a varied general practice role, mixed 50% audit and 50% statutory accounts and corporation tax returns? Are you looking for a role which will give you training and support so that you can join a larger firm and be able to work on larger and more complex clients, and lead audit assignments yourself through to completion? Are you also looking to gain exposure to special projects and advisory assignments such as cash flows, business plans, fraud investigations, general performance analysis, budgets, forecasts and competition analysis? Based in a busy and growing firm of 60 staff, training will be provided so you can lead audit assignments from planning to completion, as well as preparing statutory accounts from scratch and complete corporation tax returns. You will also have some staff management responsibilities although training will be provided if you don’t have experience reviewing work. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects to manager grade on offer. Many of the partners in this firm started as trainees and the firm always promotes from within, meaning you will be provided with every opportunity to progress to manager and then partner grade. You will gain exposure to a wide range of UK clients from sectors including media and entertainment, renewable energy, property, legal, technology, professional practices and retail. You will also get to advise a number of exciting rapidly growing entrepreneurial start ups including interesting tech start ups. This firm has had great success with people who have trained around the UK and have relocated to London to gain exposure to larger clients and better career opportunities. The firm will also allow flexible / home working 1 – 2 days a week for the foreseeable future.

To be considered for this new role you must be a fully qualified ACA, either with some post qualification experience or recently qualified. It is likely you will be working in a small or medium size accountancy firm and looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern medium sized London based practice which will provide you with structured training and support so that you can carry out this role to a high standard. Specifically they will train you so that you can complete a role around 50% audit based. You must have experience of leading small or medium size audit assignments from planning to completion, preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and liaising with clients. Your current role must be at least 20% audit based and you must be looking to receive training so this increases to around 50%. Experience of a wide range of software packages would also be an advantage. A strong interest in a mixed general practice role is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
