Are you a small firm qualified ACA Audit Senior (or an Audit & Accounts Senior) looking to upgrade to a larger firm, gain exposure to larger clients but still work in a mixed, general practice position where your role would be split 90% audit and the rest of your time split between accounts preparation and ad hoc projects? Are you keen to work in a prime location in Central London, work in a friendly firm with around 200 staff and also offers genuine progression opportunities for all its staff? Based in the audit & assurance department, this unique firm has a laid back and easy going culture and would suit someone looking to upgrade to a more prestigious firm but still have a good work life balance. You will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion manage small teams, complete statutory accounts, basic tax returns and carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects such as business plans, raising finance, cashflows, budgets, corporate finance etc. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as financial services, consultancy, media, property, entertainment, technology and retail. Client turnovers will be to £500m, although some groups are considerably larger. There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress to manager level in the future due to the office needing some more managerial leadership.
To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA Audit Senior currently working in a small or medium sized practice firm and looking to upgrade to a Top 10 firm. Your current role must be at least 50% audit based and you must be looking to increase the amount of audit that you undertake. This firm has had great success with candidates who have lived outside of London and relocate to London to gain exposure to larger clients and the London lifestyle. You must have experience of leading audits from planning to completion as well as accounts preparation assignments and some staff management responsibilities. Experience of a wide range of clients would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.
