Manchester based group accountancy practice looking to recruit Tax Manager - £Competitive
Your new company
This Manchester based group of accountancy practices has made numerous acquisitions in recent years and are looking to continue this growth. As a result they have a national client base. They intend to centralise the service delivery of these clients within Manchester and are looking to recruit a new mixed tax manager to facilitate this. They have a varied client base ranging across; large corporate businesses (turnovers in the region of £10-20m), in addition to owner managed businesses, company directors and sole traders.
Your new role
Your new Manchester based job as a mixed tax manager will be relatively standalone in terms of tax delivery, both compliance and advice in nature, while joining a team that handle the other aspects of the businesses such as the accounts. You will represent the firm to all clients, delivering compliance services across both personal and corporate interests, while responding/advising on all advisory queries that come through week on week. This work may include: capital gains tax, IHT, VAT, business sales, and aspects of international tax. This role requires you to onboard new clients and, in line with their growth plans, begin to develop new business to help the firm achieve their desired growth.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be the successful applicant for this Manchester based job you will be expected to have a demonstrated experience working within an accountancy practice, and ideally be CTA/ATT qualified or qualified by experience. You will be highly organised in your approach to managing the work of the tax department, and be highly professional servicing the firm's clients. You will be confident advising clients on different avenues of their tax affairs and suggest the best courses of action.
