|Job Title:||Tax Manager|

Looking for real responsibility? You’ve found it. Managing your own portfolio of clients from across a range of exciting industries, you’ll do whatever it takes to deliver outstanding results – giving tax advice, submitting robust R&D tax credit claims and pushing the boundaries of innovation in the UK.
As a tax manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for your clients – there to advise, assist and update them at every stage of their claim journey. You’ll need to totally understand the businesses you’re dealing with, so you’ll do in-depth interviews to uncover as much insight as possible. Sometimes that’ll mean technical research, sometimes it won’t, but it’ll always mean understanding the wider impact of the advice you give – both on your clients’ businesses and on the industry.
As well as being technically brilliant with tax, we’re looking for someone who can lead. Your time will be split between delivering fully maximised claims for your clients and supervising and mentoring your team. You’ll be responsible for managing and getting the best out of your colleagues, helping them to excel and hit target. With your experience you’ll also deliver technical training to the teams, helping us grow the next generation of ForrestBrowners.
To be a great tax manager at ForrestBrown, it’s fair to say you’ll need a brilliant knowledge of tax. We’re looking for a technical minded person with more than 3 years’ post-qualification tax experience. But although you’ll need to be fully tax or accountancy qualified (CTA or ACA), you won’t need to know all the specifics of R&D already – that’s something we can teach you. We’re a fast-paced, award-winning business and we need great people to take us to new heights. So, if you’re ambitious, eager to get involved, are a strong communicator, and can thrive under pressure, you could just be our perfect match.
