Your new company
A leading and fast-growing Financial Services business based in West Oxfordshire is actively seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to support their business with automation and improved utilisation of the finance IT products for the benefit of the finance team and wider business. The role will report into the Head of FP&A and will work alongside a group of hungry and dynamic commercial accountants.

Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the finance database and associated systems are accurate, alongside providing timely and robust information to key stakeholders, some of which you may have to identify through proactive business partnering. In addition, you will also be expected support the budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as prepare weekly and monthly information to company-wide stakeholders. Working closely with the FP&A and Financial Reporting teams will be essential, and you will be expected to lead various finance systems projects alongside your regular reporting responsibilities. On a final note, continuous improvement on both systems and finance process will be integral to the role, with the addition of ad hoc reporting upon request from various senior stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need to be Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE with extensive Finance Systems Accountant experience and prior experience handling both financial and non-financial data. You will be highly competent in Excel and ideally possess knowledge of wider BI tools, such as Tableau. Furthermore, you will demonstrate strong initiative and a proactive approach to tacking tasks and wider problem-solving, whilst also communication effectively and always collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the business will be key to your success. Previous Financial Services industry experience would be advantageous.
