Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Service Charge Accountant joins a thriving team in a property developer and housing provider that offers unparalleled progression and unique development opportunities. The key responsibilities of the role are to:
*Produce high quality financial information on Rent and Service Charge accounts to inform stakeholders in various areas within the business
*Create and strengthen relationships across all levels of the organisation using an outward-facing approach to educate budget holders on the impact of their budgets on the wider organisation
*Produce budgets, forecasts, and management information on Service Charge accounts using the output from the Finance Analyst
*Liaise with departments such as Maintenance, Equipment and Estates Services, all of which have multi-million-pound budgets that impact all corners of the organisation, and provide budgeting and forecasting information to inform wider strategy
*Analyse data to produce accurate and timely accounts and reports with detailed commentary.

To be successful in this role, you must be:
* A Qualified Accountant (CCAB) with strong Excel skills and experience in analysing and manipulating large, complex data sets
*Familiar with working in a large company in either a management/financial accounting capacity
*A first-class communicator possessing excellent written and verbal skills used to build powerful professional relationships with both finance and non-finance personnel
