Your new role
Your new company are looking for tax accounting professionals to join their fast-growing Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team. The role will give you the opportunity to work on their largest multi-country client engagements in a tax accounting and direct tax capacity. They have the opportunity to grow a tax accounting advisory book of business. The tax accounting portfolio will be complimented by multi-country direct tax portfolio where you will be the client's primary point of contact. You will be sharing insights from their direct tax data across countries, major legislative changes which need to be planned for and tax opportunities which could deliver value.

What you'll need to succeed
They're looking for a deep technical specialist to join their team and support the growth of their tax accounting advisory business, acting as a key role model for others in the team. Key skills which will enable you to be successful in this role include corporate compliance tax experience (any country). Accounting or tax qualification e.g. ACA / ATT / CTA with approx. 5 years PQE. Extensive experience in US GAAP and / or IFRS tax accounting projects. Track record of managing teams. Self-aware and accountable - the ability to manage your portfolio and bring in other specialists when required. Strong communication skills and experience working with multi-country teams. An ability to distil complex concepts into simple messages. Organised with an ability to deliver tax accounting in a short time-frame. Experience coaching and developing junior staff. Problem solving capabilities and an ability to manage budgets and time to deliver a quality output.
