My client are a successful and fast-growing Private Equity backed business, headquartered in Leeds. As Senior Financial Analyst, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Support and influence business performance by delivering excellent reporting, analysis and insight
  • Work closely with your Manager to develop and support the production of KPI reporting and operational costs reporting, developing reports in line with operational requirements
  • Actively involved in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process, working closely with the wider business
  • Provide analytical support and challenge to marketing and operational functions
  • Financial analysis of P&L performance - highlighting performance trends to improve business profitability
  • Business partnering with non-finance teams to provide analytical support and improve the commerciality and financial awareness of these teams
  • Actively involved in adhoc business initiatives and projects - providing commercial challenges and financial support & insight
  • Utilisation of MIS tool
  • Helping to drive an agenda of continuous improvement
  • Working closely with wider finance team to ensure management accounts are reflective of business performance


  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Demonstrable commercial skills - prior analyst/business partnering experience
  • Experience influencing and challenging non-finance stakeholders and working cross functionally
  • Strong analytical skills & commercial mindset
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Able to self-motivate and work to strict deadlines
  • Experience working with MIS tools (desirable)
  • Effective prioritisation skills
