Senior Finance Business Partner, UK and Europe: £60,000 + benefits

For an organisation with global presence, we're recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Director of Finance, this role will deliver a high-quality finance service to the UKI and Europe Region. The Senior Finance Business Partner will lead on project accounting, performance monitoring, budgeting and forecasting. This role will provide financial insight and will guide the Region through the business planning cycle as well as providing and disseminating decision making management information for the SMT.

Main Duties:

  • Oversee financial management of the UKI and Europe Region including the preparation of project and product performance results and analysis
  • Partner with Regional and Group finance in producing monthly reporting packs, commentary and analysis
  • Group monthly reporting and analysis including performance, variance and trend analysis
  • Collation and production of budgets and re-forecasting
  • Analyse Regional commercial trading position including areas for improvement
  • Ad-hoc reporting queries such as cost / income by products and departments
  • Work with the FD in transforming and improving financial processes by putting forward recommendations
  • Partner with Executive Team, Group Finance, Regional Finance and Key Customers

Person Specification:

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong Excel modelling skills and Sun Systems experience
  • Proven track record of business partnering with non-finance regional and global teams
  • Financial Planning & Analysis experience
  • Sound budget management and budget preparation experience
  • Proven experience of operating in international and multi-cultural organisations
  • People skills to implement change programmes
  • Performance bench marking
