Your new role
In this lead business partnering position, you would be joining a team focused on driving business growth and profitability by working with business stakeholders to identify financial and commercially viable risk and opportunities. This is done through commercially focused month-end reporting, developing strategic business plans and collaborating on business cases for new initiatives. You would be responsible for:

  • Partner with key department stakeholders, looking after both the revenue and cost base
  • Work closely with departments leadership team to drive the long-range strategy of the business, while ensuring the right short-term decisions support this
  • Be a core influencer, proactively driving key strategic initiatives, including identifying areas of opportunity
  • Take ownership of the cost base ensuring performance to plan is maintained, with opportunities identified and risks mitigated
  • Continuously drive optimisation through insightful analysis and close collaboration with business partners
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful financial analysis and business cases for management
  • Support the global business, in particular the growing US business in establishing new processes and MI

What you'll need to succeed
Fully CCAB qualified, the right person for the position will have four years post-qualified experience working in commercial finance, ideally in FP&A. You will have strong Excel modelling skills and an analytical mind with the ability to turn complex financial data into meaningful management level information. The ideal applicant will be a forward thinking, self-starter, who's highly motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and changing environment and who has a strong attention to detail. It is essential that you have a collaborative, engaging, and influencing communication style and have the gravitas to provide insightful challenge to senior executives
