With with an award winning reputation as a global financial services provider, our client is looking to expand their Internal Audit business with the appointment of a Senior Auditor. Across the UK our client is a professional and highly regarded business across retail banking and this is an opportunity for an ambitious and assurance focused individual who can engage with the business and contribute to the bigger picture.
Our client is looking for dynamic, passionate and driven candidate to join the business at an exciting time where the Internal Audit function is pivotal to the businesses success.
Your new role
The Internal Audit team is key in ensuring that the advice given is always timely, transparent and relevant. As an Internal Auditor you will work across a variety of business units, supporting assurance planning, development and engaging with the business to further recommendations and enhance operations. This is a financial audit role which will utilise skills across controls testing, process mapping and risk mitigation. You will work closely with the Audit manager delivering the audit plan and will act as a trusted stakeholder to influence the business to enhance operations.
This role will act as a key facilitator in developing internal standard processes and identifying new ways to work more efficiently. The Internal auditor will present audit findings, engaging with the business on relevant key issues and checking/reviewing of workload from junior team members. As expected, you will have the ability assess and analyse risk from an independent assurance perspective.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be a fully qualified accountant with considerable knowledge across financial services. You will be passionate about development and improving processes and strong communication skills with ca wide stakeholder base. Our client is expanding their operations with a focus on technology and development and drive and enthusiasm are essential to support continuous improvement.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 with excellent benefits, bonus, cash allowance and flexible working. You will be joining a growing company with further acquisitions planned and the opportunity to take a lead role on projects and developing the Audit function.
