Job Description

Would you like to work for one of London's most respected charities, representing an organisation with a long history of bettering the lives of residents? Does the opportunity to play a key role in the finance team of a charity with firm financial stability appeal to you? Are you looking for an all-round role within finance, offering exposure to all aspects of accountancy?

My client is a well-recognised and respected charity operating in the healthcare sector. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant will:
*Be responsible for the maintenance of financial data, bringing accounts to trial balance and ensuring the accuracy of information on the nominal ledger
*Business partner around the organisation, building strong relationships in all areas to ensure that Finance continues to be viewed as a valuable resource by providing stakeholders with crucial detailed reports
*Produce high quality financial reports to aid strategic decision making
*Lead on financial reporting, displaying expertise in both financial and management accounting to produce monthly accounts to trial balance and work as part of a close-knit team to complete month end processes, as well as taking a leading role at year end
*Engage in frequent ad hoc projects and provide expert financial modelling and Business Intelligence information to influence the direction of major business decisions.

With a long history of shaping the lives of London's residents, this is a highly successful charity in an excellent financial position that has historically been very well managed. They are innovative, focused and set ambitious goals to ensure their impact on the community is maximised.

Working for such an esteemed organisation will bring its own rewards on top of the generous benefits package, which includes individual personal development budgets that staff are encouraged to take advantage of. The team is diverse, close knit, supportive, and has an agile working policy that meets modern flexibility requirements.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum requirements:
*Be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
*Have experience in both financial and management accounts
*Display strong skills on Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate complex data sets and provide powerful Business Intelligence information
*Have a strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence key strategic decisions

This role is expected to attract a high calibre of candidates and may close early if a strong shortlist is found. To avoid missing out it's essential that you submit your CV for consideration without delay!
