Working as Semi Senior Tax Accountant you will be:

  • Preparing annual returns (individuals, partnerships, trusts and forms P11Ds/PSA's)
  • Guiding and reviewing for junior staff members
  • Reconciling balance sheets
  • Preparing capital gains computations
  • Filing tax returns electronically
  • Dealing with enquiries and preparing forms for HMRC and other third parties
  • Check chargeability on a weekly basis
  • Bookkeeping and accounts production
  • Processing journals and finalising accounts
  • Month end accounts
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assisting with Statutory accounts
  • Quarterly payroll submissions


To be successful within this Semi Senior Tax Accountant you will have:

  • 2+ years minimum accountancy practise experience
  • Ideally part ACCA qualified or fully qualified
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple client files
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience interacting with clients on a regular basis
  • Proficient using Sage, Quickbooks and Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-manage
