Job Description

Real Estate Analyst. Our Client is an international real estate advisory firm specialising in commercial real estate transactions including loans and property. They are ambitious, entrepreneurial and always looking to expand and grow. They have been operating now for almost eight years and have already shown significant growth across Europe, US and parts of Asia.

The Role: will be working in a relatively small, dynamic team and providing analytical support to the transactions team. The successful person will be required to fulfil the following duties;

  • Preparing financial models (on Excel) for various transactions.
  • Performing cash flow analysis; conducting credit analysis, and developing workout strategies for non-performing loans.
  • Conducting market research to support analysis and transactions.
  • Underwriting and performing due diligence on property, debt, and non-performing loan portfolios.

The Person: should have experience with, or a demonstrated interest in CRE loan/property origination/transactions. As the candidate will be supporting the CRE debt and equity transactions for institutional clients mainly across Europe it will be helpful if they have experience of another European language such as Italian, Spanish or German. The incumbent must have good, solid Excel / financial modelling skills. The person should also have strong analytical capabilities, problem solving abilities and good communication skills. There must also be significant interest in real estate with some experience on top. A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or other related fields is also essential.
