As a specialist Tax Manager/ Senior Manager in our Research & Development/ Incentives tax team, you will have significant provable experience in delivering R&D and creative industry tax relief claims for clients. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the preparation and review of claims for submission to HMRC and delivery of high standard client services in this specialist area.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach and be able to demonstrate a strong technical awareness in this area. You will be aiming to increase your client base through an organised approach to business development e.g. networking, client recommendation requests, and developing a referrer base.
In order to enhance your own personal development, you will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be desirable. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best. You will therefore be confident in delivering technical advice and support to colleagues in relation to innovation incentives and tax planning for innovative companies.
In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers so possessing a tax qualification such as CTA or a qualification with similar standing, such as ACA, would be a distinct advantage.
