Your new Company
You will be working for a leading global business; based in Southampton, who hold the customer at the heart of everything they do. They have a clear business strategy to add value, innovate and be the best at what they do. You will be working in modern offices with a friendly team with an excellent work ethic. Initially this role is a 12-month contract but for the right individual could become a permanent role.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be providing broad ranging key support for the finance team whilst they undergo a systems implementation, including financial reporting, generating management information, budgeting & forecasting and ensuring robust internal finance controls are maintained. You will be integral in assisting with the smooth implementation of the new finance system and in developing policies/procedures re finance management and budget preparation. This will also include some business partnering with key stakeholders re their long-term financial planning. There will also be other ad-hoc work to complete as the project dictates, so the role offers variety and no two days will look the same.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven broad accounting skills and experience, where you have been involved in budgeting & forecasting, financial accounting and FP&A previously. You will have advanced Excel skills and ideally will have some experience of supporting through a systems implementation and/or improving systems/procedures. You will also have good communication skills, as you will be required to liaise with all levels in the business. You will have be proactive, adaptable, organised and able to work under your own initiative.
