Your new organisation
Our client is a large public sector organisation based in Cardiff. They have a multi-million turnover and boast over 100 staff. They are looking to recruit an interim Principal Auditor to assist with a spike in workload.
Your new role
You will work closely with the HoIA and lead audit/assurance assignments whilst playing an integral role in supporting the delivery of the annual audit plan. Other duties include:
- Operate independently to ensure work is completed to schedule and meets high-quality standards
- Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers their commitments within the agreed timescales
- Communicate issues, risks and recommendations to all levels of management
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part/fully qualified auditor with recent experience of carrying out audits within large complex organisations with minimal supervision. You will be analytical, thorough and confident in challenging operational managers. Welsh speaking skills would be advantageous.
