Property Accounts Manager - Central London based Accountancy Firm - Up to £55,000
Your new company
A forward thinking, expanding accountancy firm based in London are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join the firms growing team. The accountancy firm provides a number of accounting, tax and audit services to a number of clients across the UK. the firm is looking for an experience property accountant to help build the firms London operation.
Your new role
In your new role as a portfolio manager you will manage a portfolio of residential and commercial clients across London. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of properties and projects, ensuring all KPIs are met and delivered
- Manage working capital effectively across the portfolio (raising bills, chasing debts when appropriate, WIP management).
- Manage team members and plan resource levels.
You will also be required to meet new and existing clients all within the property industry as well as carry out marketing and business development strategies to help build the firms London operation and increase the property portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience and a passion for the property industry. You will have prior experience of managing a portfolio (WIP, billings and addressing debts).This is a standalone position so you must be capable working individually and able to use your own initiative. The position focuses on service charge accounting so experience in this field is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of winning new business and developing an existing portfolio of clients, although this is not essential.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000 dependant on experience. The accountancy firm offers "open holidays", flexible working hours and an email curfew.
