My client is a reputable 6 Director Firm of accountants with multiple offices, with plans to continue to expand and grow the firm. They seek a Personal Tax Manager to join their team in the Winchester office working on a broad range of clients
Your new role
As a Personal Tax Manager you will be joining a small team and will manage your own portfolio of clients, providing tax advisory and tax planning services to the firms personal tax clients. You will manage client meetings and actively build client relationships, advising on a broad range of topics such as inheritance tax planning, income protection and capital gains. You will manage a varied portfolio, predominantly HNWIs but also farm owners, estates, trusts and limited company business owners. The role will offer a mix of compliance and advisory work as well as picking up workflow and ad hoc projects from the main office.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be ATT or CTA qualified (or actively studying) with previous experience of managing a portfolio of clients, looking after their tax obligations in terms of deadlines and necessary compliance work. There will be advisory an component to the role which can be negotiated; increased or decreased over time as you prefer, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary dependent on experience up to £60,000. There is on-site parking, a generous pension scheme starting at 11%, rising to 15% with time and a Death In Services scheme. Initially 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after two years of service.
