Who we are
BPP is a global education provider delivering apprenticeships, professional qualifications, degree courses and on-going professional development programmes.
The education landscape is changing, and we’re excited by the ever-increasing opportunities to thrive in a global market. We’re setting ourselves a clear target. To step up. To disrupt. And to truly own the professional education marketplace.
At BPP, we work closely with employers and professional bodies to make our learning as real world, relevant and future facing as possible. We do it for the biggest names and we do it in specialist areas. That includes law, accountancy, financial services, nursing, technology and more. And it covers a range of qualifications to develop careers at every stage and every level of development.
Working at BPP, you are joining a community of committed, passionate and self-determined people. As a business, and in our individual teams, we support each other, encourage new ideas and aim for excellence in all that we do. An ethos of challenging convention runs through the business and we all work together towards our common goal of Building Careers Through Education.
What you’ll do
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide coaching and support to our apprentices via a range of contact methods in order to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviour required for them to progress through their apprenticeship. You will liaise closely with their employers throughout this journey to ensure they remain fully informed as to their learners progress via the provision of ongoing data.
Your professional qualification and industry experience is only the start or what you will bring to this role. Passionate about delivering the best student experience possible, you will draw upon your knowledge and experience in order to provide tailored support and training to your learners, ensuring they are fully prepared and confident to successfully complete their apprenticeship. You will monitor your learners’ performance and motivate them to complete their assessments via ongoing constructive and relevant feedback.
With a professional accounting qualification, you will understand how the skills and experience you have acquired in industry may be applied to enhancing the student experience.
Whilst some coaching experience or experience of working with apprentice students would be desirable, most important is a genuine motivation to contribute to our students’ success. A strong networker and effective communicator, you will be adept at adapting your style in order to build rapport and maintain empathy with a range of key stakeholders.
Finally, your ability to work efficiently and manage your time and workload effectively - together with a commitment to continuously improving your professional and technical skills and knowledge - will make you the ideal candidate for this role. You will be joining a company that exists to help people make the most of their talents - by providing the culture, career development opportunities and benefits to inspire you personally and professionally.
