Payroll Administrator Job - Top 50 Practice - East Sussex
Your new company
I am working with a top 50 accountancy practice to recruit for a payroll administrator to join their friendly payroll team.
Your new role
Your core responsibilities will be entering payroll data from start to finish accurately, reconciling payroll to client data, preparing payroll journals, analysing weekly and monthly PAYE figure, calculating SSP/SMP/SAP, preparing Bacs files as well as producing and distributing pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in members' status and uploading to pension provider. You will also be dealing effectively with queries from clients and HMRC.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have excellent numeracy skills, thorough knowledge of PAYE and relevant legislation. You also need to have intermediate Excel skills. Ideally you will be CIPP qualified or working towards a qualification.
