Part time financial accountant role at a new digital bank based in central London, 3 days per week
Your new company
A new digital bank, the group are looking to create a global digital bank with the capability to service a customer base across a large area, with a head office in London. They are building to bank from scratch and therefore this represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious technically astute accountant to join the bank and grow with the team as it develops.
The bank has just received it's PRA licence and has several experienced board members and NEDs with large bank and building society backgrounds.
Your new role
Working closely with the financial controller you will focus on financial reporting and control and producing management accounts, within in a technical role, as the finance team looks to streamline and establish it's reporting structure. You will work with all areas of the business and IT to ensure that early finance issues are resolved and the set up is robust for the future.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an ACA qualified accountant with a background in audit, ideally within financial services, you will have a strong technical grounding including comprehensive understanding of IFRS9.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary equivalent to £60,000 on a full time basis, for a 3 day per week role. You will receive a good benefits package and bonus potential as well as being able to work in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
