Unique opportunity for a part-time finance director to support a business going through a period of change.
Your new company
The business operates within the care home sector and has been extremely successful over the years. Owing to a change in strategy, we are recruiting for an interim finance director to provide support to the CEO on a part-time basis. This is an interim opportunity initially for 3-months but has the potential to continue for much longer.
Your new role
As the key finance advisor to the CEO in a changing business, you will take on a wide range of duties. From a finance perspective this will include preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidated reports for the board, whilst also overseeing AP and payroll processes. In addition you be involved with negotiating contracts both with suppliers and customers and getting involved with key projects such as the devolution of finance processes to the homes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and must have experience of working within the care home sector. You will be flexible in approach and be able to travel to different care homes on a monthly basis. This role is initially being recruited for approximately 20 hours per week, but this could increase depending on requirements.
