Your new firm
A forward think and technology driven firm of Chartered Accountants based in Oswestry, Shropshire are looking to appoint a Client Manager to join the team on a part time basis. This is a new job opportunity that has been created following sustained growth over the past 2 years. This increase in workload has resulted in the need for a Client Manager to join the firm and work part time hours of between 18 - 28 hours a week.
Your new role
As a Client Manager (working part time hours) you will be a trusted adviser for 80 - 100 businesses and take responsibility for meeting with them throughout the year to discuss their statutory accounts, interim management accounts and assist with tax planning. As the client manager you will review financial statement and tax returns produced by other members of the team and analysing these to provide commercial business advice to enable your clients to meet with growth and profitability targets.
What you'll need to succeed
The Director is looking to appoint an experienced general practitioner who has strong small business accounting and tax knowledge and is able to work autonomously. As this role is client facing you must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a good commercial acumen as you will be trusted advisor to your clients. The Director will consider ACA / ACCA qualified individuals or AAT / QBE practice professionals who are looking to work between 18 - 28 hours a week.
