Management Accountant (full-time, permanent)

We operate 550 branded womenswear concessions online and in stores across the UK and Ireland. Our products are designed in house and sourced and manufactured through our China office. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented qualified accountant with a desire to work in a commercial setting to join our team of 50 passionate employee owners. We are debt-free and pursuing an ambitious growth strategy to reach 700 outlets by 2025. Our core values are reflected by our support for the philanthropic work of The Loomba Foundation.

 

Duties

  • Reporting directly to the COO
  • Overseeing two accounts personnel
  • Annual budget and forecast
  • Monthly management accounts (three trading companies)
  • Annual statutory accounts (four active and four dormant entities)
  • Monthly payroll (50+ employees)
  • Ownership of all statutory reporting, tax and filings compliance
  • Liaise with external advisors and corporate services providers
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis for business improvement

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sage Payroll
  • Experience having worked within a FMCG business
  • Experience of multi-currency cross-border trade
  • Business process improvement mindset
  • Strong organisational skills, meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, helping to make informed decisions
  • Strong communication skills, helping to solve problems

Property Accountant (full-time, permanent)

We invest in commercial real estate through seven different entities. Our diversified portfolio consists of residential, retail, leisure, logistics and alternatives. There are 30 tenant customers, a number we expect will grow over the next 1-2 years as the portfolio expands. We have a great opportunity for a property accountant to help us professionalise and grow further. We aim to achieve best in class investment returns whilst providing a high-quality service for our tenant customers.

 

Duties

 

  • Reporting directly to the CEO
  • Overseeing the work of the property co-ordinator
  • Ownership of all accounting procedures
  • Preparation of annual service charge budgets and actuals  
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Annual statutory accounts
  • Ownership of all statutory reporting, tax and filings compliance
  • Monthly payroll (5+ employees)
  • Liaise with external advisors and corporate service providers

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience of working for a property investment business
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting and Sage Payroll
  • Business process improvement mindset
  • Strong organisational skills, meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, helping to make informed decisions
  • Strong communication skills, helping to solve problems
