Your new company
Your new company is an NYSE-Listed manufacturing firm, working largely within the Medical Devices space, but with offerings in other sectors of the market also. The company head a Global Headquarters in the USA, but a European Head Office based in Holborn, London. The business is accommodating of a remote/home-working pattern, though you will need to be able to commute to the London Head Office when needed.
Your new role
In your new role as an IT Auditor, you will report to the Head of Internal Audit, working as part of a large team of around 9 Internal Auditors, about half of which are based in Europe, the other half, in the USA. The business is open to remote working, and most of the team work majority of the time remotely.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the wider IT audit plan for Europe & Asia, which is your geographical focus, though you may need to help out with assignments outside this region when required, and be a vocal part of the team where needed.
You will be expected to help out and contribute to the improvement of the Audit function, including the improvement of the efficiency of the Sox controls testing program including deployment of audit analytical tools, where appropriate.
Currently, the team are not doing any travel, though under normal working conditions the team do around 40% travel, which is expected to be closer to 30% from 2021. The majority of travel is short-haul within Europe (such as Germany, Czechia and Hungary), with occasional trips on long-haul to Asia.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years' experience working within IT Audit space
- Ability to travel internationally
- Exposure to a Sox controls environment
- Second language is a bonus, not essential (Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese preferable)
- Relevant qualification such as ISACA/CISA etc. will be a bonus
