Your new role
The internal auditor will work as part of a lean and effective team providing fully independent, collaborative and objective advise across the finance team. The Internal auditor will be responsible for due diligence, detailed audit review and challenge and will engage with a wide range of stakeholders internally. This role will form a key contribution in supporting the development and oversight of company-wide risk, compliance and assurance policies and procedures, leveraging as fully as possible data analytics and other technical developments in those fields.
The Internal Auditor will Execute high-quality, efficient and risk-prioritised engagements supporting the audit planning and assurance process across an international platform. This is a commercial role involved in advising senior stakeholders and offering progressive and objective recommendations to ensure the assurance of financial processes and procedures company wide. This position will cover a wide range of departments and processes from IT, HR to operations. An exciting role for anyone passionate about adding value and working with a variety of people to create efficiencies and increase innovation.
You will be part of a high performing business to Identify and drive appropriate corrective actions, securing buy-in from local management and supporting same through to full, sustained and verified completion
What you'll need to succeed
The Internal auditor will have excellent relationship management skills with the ability to distil meaningful management information and influence. A professionally qualified accountant, the ideal role holder will have a strong Audit background ideally with exposure across manufacturing environments and an interest in data analytics to enhance capabilities. This role will involve travel to international locations between 6-8 times a year so flexibility will be required to support the various regions. This role would suit an ambitious and passionate auditor who is passionate about positive change and enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial setting where the work that they achieve directly impacts business performance.
