Internal Audit Manager role - South Wales - £45k to £50k plus great benefits

A leading public sector organisation in South Wales with a market leading Internal Audit function - they specialise in the provision of a comprehensive range of high quality, customer focussed, corporate governance and risk management services.
Your new role
This new role is part of the senior management team and is a key leadership position where you will also deputise for the Head of Audit. You and your team will be contributing to the strategic development of the 3 year audit plan and annual audit plan. The role is 10% financial audit and 90% varied audit.
What you'll need to succeed
To have a strong Internal Audit background - preferably in a large public sector organisation, but sizeable commercial backgrounds will also be very relevant. To have some managerial experience already - but this role can also be a development role for someone early in their leadership career. IIA, CIPFA, ACCA and ACA qualifieds will be relevant. You will also need strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills and plenty of drive and enthusiasm for your career.
