Interim Finance Manager, ongoing contract
Your new organisation
Our client is a large recognisable utilities company. They are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to assist during a time of additional work and transition.
Your new role
Based just outside of Cardiff you will prepare, balance and review quarterly reporting packs. Manage the month end and year end accounting process, agreeing and reviewing results in line with forecast and budgets, managing meetings and maintaining periods in SAP. Keep abreast of technical changes, accounting standard updates and apply to the business, accounting records and statutory financial statements. Conduct ad-hoc exercises to improve quality and accuracy of financial performance, management information and reporting systems.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant with several years experience of preparing statutory accounts. Experienced User of SAP or closely related finance system. Strong PC application skills required, in particular strong Excel and Word skills.The successful candidate will be highly numerate, a logical thinker and problem solver with an awareness of financial, regulatory, economic, commercial and business practice.
