A FTSE leading technology business is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.
Managing 2 qualified individuals you will ensure the planning cycle is coordinated effectively and executed with rigour and precision. Main duties include:
- Financial planning: lead business through annual planning and budgeting cycle
- Coordinate process across Finance team: timetabling, managing templates and input submissions
- Lead forecasting across full P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet
- Synthesize key figures, drivers, assumptions throughout the process for Finance and Exec discussion
- Capture and evaluate risks & opps
- Build Exec-ready output to ensure successful sign-off
- Set non-financial KPIs and communicate with wider business in support of budget
- Take lead on model-building in financial forecasting tool
- Deliver monthly rolling forecast update to help the Company manage trade-offs in delivering against financial targets and maintaining financial control
- Evolve existing process for rolling forecast including design and implementation of templates & models
- Establish efficient rhythm for managing update and comms across Finance team
- Build narrative to facilitate trade-off decisions at Exec level
- Strategic planning: support business through strategic decision-making process, including
- Maintain three/five-year plan outlook
- Contribute to objective assessment of past investments and future opportunities, including ROI analysis
- Design and implement an appropriate business case template for financial investment appraisal
- Develop ad hoc tools for analysis to support business challenges and opportunities
- Support Finance team projects as required
- Investor and Analyst narrative to support education, consensus mgt, guidance etc.

- Regulatory submissions
