We are delighted to be working with one of the fastest growing charities in the UK, in assisting to recruit an Interim Head of Financial Accounting to join their team. Reporting into the CFO, the role is covering a maternity leave and we are offering the role for an initial duration of 9 months. The organisation has a turnover of circa £60 Million p/a and this has doubled in the last 5 years, with additional growth anticipated for the future.
You will be leading a high calibre team of 6 transactional staff on both AR and AP. You will provide a high quality of financial advice to the CFO, Trustees and Senior Management Team, and provide an excellent financial service with a strong customer service ethos. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering robust financial and statutory accounts to SORP reporting standards. You will be familiar with FRS, GAAP and other requirements and have an excellent technical grounding.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of leading a similar-sized team previously and will have excellent communication skills. The organisation uses Great Plains Dynamics as its system and is seeking to integrate this with its CRM system in the coming months. This will be an interesting project to run alongside the Business as Usual duties of a financial accounting function.
You will be professionally qualified and available on a maximum notice period of 2 weeks. Potential for an immediate interview and start to assignment.
