Job Description

Our client is part of an international organisation going though significant growth.

Description

The key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership and responsibility for delivering the commercial planning process including; cost reviews, annual budgets, quarterly re forecasts and monthly management reporting
  • Management of the financial accounting team
  • reparation of board presentations and regular KPI analysis
  • Accurate timely reporting to management and group, including quality analysis of actual results against budget with due consideration of relevant underlying business issues
  • Drive and support the development of the business's leadership with a robust business and financial planning process
  • Generation of monthly and year end management accounts and business performance metrics to tight deadlines
  • Analysis of performance against budgets and preparing regular reports for the leadership team
  • Maintain the financial quality and integrity of the ledgers, with particular reference to balance sheet reconciliations, accurate reporting of profit and loss and cash flow movement.
  • Liaison with parent company and group auditors
  • Annual statutory accounts and tax return preparation including liaison with local auditors
  • Assist with business merger, acquisitions and integration

Profile

  • ACA, ACMA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Proven experience in the areas of financial planning & analysis, finance business partnering, management accounting and financial control
  • Self-motivated and proactive leader who is prepared to be hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse and advise
  • Attention to detail and desire to understand the underlying business
  • Good IT skills including use of ERP systems and excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
