Group Reporting Manager role with a rapidly expanding disruptive tech company. Broad technical role with oversight of financial reporting for the group. £80K + Package.

The Client

I'm partnering with a rapidly expanding disruptive tech company as they expand their London finance function. Off the back of another successful fundraise and recent acquisition, they are looking to invest in their finance team and this Group Reporting Manager role is a newly created position and key a hire to support that continued growth.

Whilst the company has gone through impressive expansion, finance has remained a streamline team and as such this will be a broad role ensuring best reporting practices are in place, deliver technical advisory across the group and playing a key role in preparing them for their next stage of growth.


The Role

This Group Reporting Manager role reports into the Group Financial Controller and will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Financial/Statutory Reporting: oversight of all consolidated financial reporting across the group. Manage the audit process
  • Technical Finance Lead: head up technical advisory for the group. Develop reporting policies and IFRS best practices. Advising on any complex accounting (transactions, IFRS treatments etc.)
  • Development of Process & Controls: supporting Group Financial Controller with continuous development of controls frameworks and financial processes
  • Management Reporting: support with month end processes and provide ad hoc support for analysis/management information


What's Needed

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
  • Strong background in group reporting, improving reporting process and solving technical accounting queries
  • Working knowledge of IFRS (in particular IFRS 9/15/16)
  • Proven background in developing process and controls (SOX compliance desirable)
  • Private equity/High growth/Listed environment exposure
  • Able to commute to Central London (flexible working with 2-3 days a week in the office)
