Leading specialist international group are, due to expansion, looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join the business as Group Reporting Accountant to be based at their offices near Ipswich, Suffolk
Your new role
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the Group Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the review and submission of the subsidiary monthly financial and management reports for the legal entities. They will liaise with the subsidiary finance teams on adjustments and to resolve any queries. At year end they will be responsible for the production of the statutory reports in local GAAP and IFRS and assist with managing the year end and annual audit.
On a monthly and annual basis the Group Reporting Accountant will review the monthly management reports, budgets and forecasts for each entity/group and produce the consolidated financial and management reports in line with group and regulatory reporting requirements.
The Group Reporting Accountant will assist the Group Financial Controller to drive efficiency in processes, controls and IT systems to streamline and drive efficiency and quality.
What you'll need to succeed
The Group Reporting Accountant will be a qualified accountant, with strong technical knowledge; IFRS, FRS102 and consolidated reporting. They will have good attention to detail but also be able to see the bigger picture and be commercially focused.
They will be an excellent communicator able to liaise at all levels, have strong IT skills including Excel to an advanced level, experience of a reporting tool such as Hyperion would be an advantage.
