Job Description

Our client, a well-known consumer facing brand with a loyal and ever-expanding customer base, is looking to source a talented Group Reporting Accountant to join its high calibre team. This is a pivotal role supporting the group in monthly financial and management accounting processes, as well assisting in the preparation of group and entity statutory accounts. There will also be a project focus, as the business continues to innovate and expand its market share over the coming 12 months.

Main duties include:
* Ownership of accounting and reporting for 6 group entities
* Preparing consolidation system for month end reporting, including posting consolidation journals
* Supporting the preparation of UK subsidiary statutory accounts
* Supporting the preparation of the group's consolidated statutory accounts
* Preparing quarterly bank covenants calculations
* Assisting with annual yearend audit
* Preparing group financial and management accounts for monthly close, budget and forecasts
* Analysis and reconciliation of intercompany balances globally
* Ad hoc financial analysis for both finance and non-finance heads
* Monitoring management and financial data used for reporting
* Supporting the improvement of consolidation system
* Assisting with the development evolution of group wide controls and processes

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA qualified ideally big 4 with some group experience
* Consolidation experience is essential
* Exposure to management accounting budgeting and forecasting etc.
* Advanced Excel
* Able to deliver accurate, high quality work to tight deadlines
* Able to work independently, whilst also working well in a team environment
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Good technical and systems skills, including development of reporting templates and outputs
* Determined and focused in approach to work, with a propensity to get things done
* Positive attitude and able to take ownership of issues / problems and work diligently to find solutions and complete tasks
* Experience of working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
