Indirect Tax Manager required for listed manufacturing business based in Manchester | £65k + Benefits
Your new company
You will be working for a world-leader in manufacturing. The business are going through a period of change and this role offers the opportunity to play an important role in redefining the Indirect Tax function.
Your new role
As Group Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the function, suggesting improvements to current processes and systems, as well as liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring increased efficiencies throughout the supply chain. In the short term, you will aim to mitigate risk following Brexit, and long term the objective will be to lead continuous improvement projects and lead on audits.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in managing an Indirect Tax function, and hold a relevant accounting qualification such as CTA / ATT / HMRC VAT qual / other VAT Qualification. You will have a proven record of implementing business change, and have the attitude of someone looking to broaden their exposure and experience within all aspects of tax.
