Your new company
A leading leisure FTSE 250 company is in over 30 countries and truly global in scope. They are beginning the search for a new Group Financial Reporting Manager, following the previous incumbent following an internal promotion into the Group FP&A function. They are preparing for rapid growth, change and team building. Having recently received a recent significant cash injection, this leading food business is ultimately driven by a dependent and loyal consumer market, and are preparing to maximise on market opportunity from an M&A perspective in the coming months and years. The finance team is robust, focused and lean, leading to intended future progression for this role.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Reporting & Director of Group Finance, this senior role under the proposed new structure will evolve from primarily a consolidation 'pre parer' role to a more senior 'reviewer' role. You'll be providing overall technical accounting leadership and also providing regular and timely financial information to the business, building and developing a strong strategic partnership between the finance function and the wider global business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a top 4 - top 10 practice background and be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant, either to Senior Manager level moving straight from practice or with a few years of relevant, global or multi-currency industry experience. It will be particularly valuable to have worked in the Group audit team of FTSE100 / FTSE 250 companies, and have dealt with complex multi-currency consolidations with a very good handle of group finance from an audit perspective. You will need to be a confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
