Group Accountant role based in Oxford, working for a reputable medical and healthcare business
Your new company
A fast-growing medical business in Oxford is actively seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant to join their close-knit finance team. The role will report into the Head of Finance and lead all financial reporting and compliance for the group.
Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated Group results and management information that supports and influences decision-making across the business. Further duties will also include, preparation of the financial statements, group balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow management. In addition, you will be responsible for the production of statutory accounts, audit lead and process improvement for all financial reporting matters.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be qualified ACA or ACCA and ideally have a practice background, however the company will also consider industry trained in a technical-leaning role. Furthermore, you will also have strong knowledge of IFRS and keep up to date with reporting standard and policy. In addition, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
