The Finance Business Partners, supported by the analysts and transactional finance teams, have a key focus on supporting the business, providing strategic insight and a review of business performance. The key focus of the role will be providing rich analysis and insight based on internal and external data, and promoting growth through revenue initiatives, cost reduction opportunities, enhancing earnings quality, capex investments and new ventures.

Description

Core Responsiblites:

  • Daily Finance Business Partnering for the respective country MD/RMD/SS Director for your remit, building strong relationships with the operational business to become a "trusted advisor" to them
  • Close monitoring of functional performance and strategic analysis of KPIs, financial indicators and external data including competition to spot key trends, insights and opportunities
  • Producing analysis and insights e.g., for reporting packs and other management information to aid their respective MD/RMD/SS Director in running their business
  • Working with management teams in preparation and review of business cases, or in strategic analysis and decision making e.g. decisions to create new teams; to open new office locations; to undertake support projects etc.
  • Undertaking full cost analysis to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Oversee and input into the budgeting and forecasting process - liaising with the business to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions
  • Overseeing the financial accounting inputs/output to/from the business to ensure that transactions are accurately and timely posted, and reflect accurately business activity
  • Ownership and responsibility for the full P&L, Balance Sheet and inputs into Cash flows of your business
  • Ensuring strong processes between the functions and the respective SSC / transactional finance teams
  • Providing guidance and strategic input into the month-end process executed by the transactional finance teams
  • Reviewing bonus, commission and incentive schemes and payments, ensuring they remain fair, rewarding and cost effective
  • Oversight and ultimate accountability for any internal or external audit activity required
  • Closely work and coordinate with other support functions (Marketing, HR, IT) to ensure best possible outcome for Page
  • Other ad-hoc internal and external reporting as required by their businesses

Profile

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Very strong financial modelling skills
  • Experience of managing senior stakeholders
  • 1 years + professional experience in a large, complex global organisation
  • Professional accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or local equivalent
  • An understanding of the recruitment industry: threats, challenges and opportunities is desirable
  • Previous experience with Shared Service Centres and Human Resources would be an advantage
