Client Details

The Client

My client is a large, global telecommunications group who have rapidly expanded over recent years, with the support of their new private-equity backers. This expansion has created growth across different internal functions and finance, in particular FP&A and commercial finance, is being heavily invested in.

Group finance is still fairly streamlined, meaning that broad roles can be offered as well as great growth potential for every hire coming in. Typically roles they hire at this level are either newly created or come about due to internal promotions, with this case being the latter.

Finance has a strong collaborative culture and this FP&A Manager role would have a great mentor in the hiring manager, the Head of FP&A.

The Role

This FP&A Manager role will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Group FP&A (Annual & monthly budgeting/planning/forecasting)
  • Business partner with non-finance budget holders
  • Commercial analysis (investment appraisal, competitor/market analysis etc) + input into long term strategic planning
  • Manage a team of 2

What's Needed

  • Fully qualified with proven FP&A background
  • Strong, proven senior stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent Excel skills (some BI exposure would also be of benefit)
  • Able to commute to London 3 days a week

  • £65,000 - £75,000 experience dependent
