Job Description

Our client, a household brand name with a reputation for providing a dynamic and flexible working environment, is looking to source a credible and engaging FP&A Manager to join its talented team. This is a business that has performed very well in the last year and now plans to focus intently on its 5-year, strategy that will facilitate an impressive amount of further growth.

This role will lead the team to provide strategic and financial planning support to the business. You'll be responsible for leading annual and quarterly financial forecasts, partnering with the business to lead variance analysis, provide analytical support and communicating the results to the leadership team. There will be lots of flexibility to work from home post-covid, so will be easily commutable from London or the wider Northern Home Counties area.

Main duties include:
* Leading financial planning for the 3 year, annual and quarterly P&L forecasts including new sites, sales, costs and other profit levers
* Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to bring together business strategy and reflect this in the forecasts and reporting, challenging where necessary
* Partnering with the control team to manage and deliver a high quality and insightful end to end month end process by analysing performance versus forecast
* Tracking financial risks and opportunities
* Communicating a clear and coherent story of performance and actions to the senior leadership team
* Taking personal accountability to drive and own business performance by driving insights, challenging the status quo
* Acting as a key commercial thought partner to the cross-functional teams to bring analytical rigour and discipline to strategic initiatives
* Leading or supporting other key strategic projects aimed at continuously evolving the business strategy

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and strong academics
* Excellent communication, proven influencing skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
* Highly analytical with strong adaptability to a fast-moving environment
* An eye towards continuous process improvement
* Desire to develop career into senior leadership
* Experience within consulting, strategic planning, FP&A or commercial finance in a consumer facing environment
* Advanced Excel
* Strong interpersonal skills, comes across as bright, engaging and astute
