We are currently recruiting for a Forensic Accounting Manager to join our vibrant forensic and valuations team, working across London and the Southeast.

Role Description

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual specialising in providing forensic accounting and valuations services.

The position is ideal for someone who already has a good working knowledge of forensic accounting, expert witness work and business valuations, although further on the job training will be provided.

You will report to the Director and Partner in the department.

The role is largely office based but will require visits to clients to obtain or investigate accounting information.  There may be some travel both between our offices and across the country.  You may also be required to attend conferences with clients, barristers and solicitors, an assignment for which you will assume responsibility.

You will be expected to help with business development and will therefore be asked to attend meetings with potential clients and intermediaries. 

The objectives of the role

You will support and develop the forensic service line.

Responsibilities

 Along with those responsibilities mentioned above you will:

  • Management of multiple assignments for sign off by Partner/Director
  • Share and business valuations
  • Computation of financial loss claims
  • Assessing evidence in criminal matters
  • Other ad hoc investigations

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent
  • Five years PQE with at least three years in forensic accounting, expert witness or business valuation work
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, inquisitive, hard working and self driven
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner
