Financial Reporting Manager - PE Backed High Growth
Hertfordshire / London (Flexible working)
£65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Vitae Financial Recruitment are working exclusively with this highly profitable and well funded PE backed market leader as they embark on a period of significant investment and acquisition.
The business has performed well during COVID with a strong balance sheet and is set to achieve record profits next year approaching £300M EBITDA.
This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong ACA with 2-3 years + post qualified experience (PQE) to gain unrivaled daily exposure to the Group Financial Controller and CFO at a time of positive transformation and investment where you can really make your mark in a highly visible role with a broad range of project exposure as the business scales up in line with an ambitious, exciting and a very achievable 5 year vision.
This is a newly created role with a clear progression path towards a Group Financial Controller role or maybe into a senior commercial finance within the group.
We are seeking an ACA Qualified, likely from a big 4 firm (or top tier) who is seeking a move into commerce or someone from a similar role seeking a step up in responsibility and scope.

Main duties include:

*Play a pivotal role in the integrity of financial reporting integrity and control within a £1B + t/o growing business
*Preparing year end group consolidation and consolidated accounts
*Working close with key external advisors and acting as the main point of contact for the auditors
*Assisting with Year-end glossy Annual Review preparation
*Project work around investments, acquisitions and reporting standard conversions
*Preparing the figures for all the subsidiary accounts
*Producing the year end accounts of several subsidiary companies
*Preparing the quarterly bank reporting
*Assisting in the development of reporting systems
*Supporting the development of financial policies and processes
*Supporting numerous commercial projects, acquisitions and investment proposals
*Accounting for acquisitions gaining an understanding of the business and fair value adjustments
*Acting as the main point of contact for any technical accounting questions
*Analysis results and preparing management / board reports
*Proving support to the CFO and Group Financial Controller on Ad hoc projects

What we are looking for:

*ACA Qualified (top tier firm)
*Could be straight from practice (big 4 ideally) or a fast-paced, blue chip industry environment
*Good knowledge of accounting standards and application IFRS
*Highly self-motivated and strives to continually improve ways of working
*Confident, credible communicator - can build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders and also translate highly technical information to those not as savvy
*Positive and proactive approach to problem solving
