If you are looking for a role in the international development sector that is challenging and varied, where you can operate in a flexible environment where change and improvement is encouraged and invested in, this Financial Planning and Reporting Manager may be the right next role for you.
You would be part of one of the most influential INGO's operating from the UK, responsible for changing the lives of millions across the world. The Financial Planning and Reporting Manager will be responsible for setting budgets and ensuring these are aligned with the finance strategy. This role will oversee the budgeting process and ensure these are updated and work with country operations to encourage ownership of the budgeting process.
This position will work closely with the Head of Finance to deliver a well-run finance function, dedicated to continuous improvement. This position will manage the month and year end process with support from a qualified team and will assist the Head of Finance to prepare the statutory accounts and budgets for commercial proposals.
Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage 'up' in addition to overseeing a strong finance team. Audit experience would be beneficial but we are encouraging applications from candidates from all backgrounds, including international development, UK charities and commercial organisations. This position would suit fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) who are looking for an opportunity to drive change, improvements and be part of a globally recognised international charity supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society.
If you are looking for a role with variety and change, please get in touch with Kate at Robertson Bell for more information: email@example.com. Applications are being reviewed daily and we are holding interviews as and when suitable candidates apply, so please get in touch early as this role is likely to be filled before the closing date.
