Job Description

Are you an FP&A Manager looking to join a rapidly expanding and very high growth international promotions and events business based in a prime location in Central London? Are you looking to work in an rapidly growing team, in a newly created role due to growth and some very exciting future projects coming up in the future? Based in a new and expanding part of the business, you will work closely with the Finance Director and CEO and be responsible for increasing the company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation and delivery of financial plans for this particular part of the business. Your individual responsibilities will include: devising financial strategic plans, build and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial infrastructure is delivering efficiently, produce models to project growth and determine the impacting business factors, competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team, analyse financial and operational results, communicate reasons for department performance and results, detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results, recommend cost savings, prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions, recommend improvements that will lead to cost reductions, revenue generation and streamlining operations, being able to explain to senior management about financial modelling, forecasts and profitability and assisting in the preparation and development of financial reports. Overall your role will be varied, hands on and enjoyable with progression expected in a short time frame.

To be considered for this newly created role (March 2021) you must be ACA qualified and ideally have some post qualification experience. You must be entrepreneurial and looking for a hand on role in which you can challenge how things are done and recommend improvements. You must also be able to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. You must currently be working in industry as an FP&A Manager, either an established Manager or at a slightly more junior level and looking to step up to Manager grade. You must have strong modelling and analytical skills, and have strong report writing, budgeting, analysis and forecasting skills. You must have a strong understanding of the Balance Sheet, income statements and Cash Flows. You must also have the ability to challenge the status quo with a view to process improvement.
