Job Description

Build/create financial models and scenarios to asses the Groups key performance metrics and investment appetite. Support in the preparation of the Groups business plan and presentation of the plan to both internal and external stakeholders.

Description

· Undertake financial modelling to assess the financial impact of different scenarios on the Group's key metrics and financial forecasts
· Develop financial modelling solutions, utilising external support where necessary, tailored for the requirements of property and corporate level modelling
· Support the internal and external review of financial models (i.e. by auditors, banks etc.)
· Support the preparation of the Group's annual Business Plan, Spring Forecast and other ad hoc forecasts for presentation to senior management
· In conjunction with the Investment team undertake analysis of potential investment and divestment scenarios to assess the impact on the performance of the Group's property portfolio
· Undertake financial modelling to support individual investment transactions
· Build and maintain good external relationships

Profile

· Experience of a similar role in a commercial environment
· Strong financial Excel modelling experience including developing own models
· Experience of working with third party providers to design/deliver modelling or other system solutions
· Drive and initiative to improvement existing modelling and processes
· Good understanding of financial and management accounting
· Ability to manage conflicting priorities, work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
· Effective organisation skills with a track record of reporting and forecasting
· Ability to effective present and communication output with all levels of the organisation, including colleagues outside of finance
