Financial Controller - Pharma
Your new company
They are a high growth Pharmaceutical business who are looking to grow 5 times in the next 5 years. They are present internationally have a range with new and innovative treatments.
Your new role
The role will be reporting to the CFO and is covering a period where they are recruiting for a permanent Financial Controller. It will be managing the day to day operations and supply chain within the business. There will be team management of a team of 6, 3 qualified, 3 non-qualified and you will be responsible for technical accounting, transactional finance, having oversight of AP, AR, VAT, Month end, bank recs and intercompany reconciliations. You will ideally have had experience within a shared service centre, have had experience with process improvement, as well as experience internationally. The company operates as a start-up; therefore, they need someone comfortable with that and is and happy to develop the role themselves. Processes are currently manual and there is a fair bit of transactional reconciliation and excel work.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit a qualified accountant with experience working within a SSC environment. This role would suit someone who is a self-starter, eager to do process improvement but doesn't mind getting their hands into the details. Pharma/FMCG/Stock based background would be ideal.
