Financial Controller

Financial Controller job for a growing manufacturing business in Poole.

Your new company
This established and reputable organisation, who due to their continued expansion are now operating across multiple sites in Dorset. The Financial Controller will be based in their head office in Poole, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Your new role
As the Financial Controller you will be managing a small finance team, responsible for the day to day accounting functions. You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts for 3 legal entities, producing the group consolidated accounts, budgeting, cash-flow reporting and the year-end audit process. You will be business partnering various department managers and the MD, providing reporting and analysis as required to support strategic business decision making.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with experience in a similar hands-on Financial Controller or Finance Manager job within an SME/owner managed business. You will have strong all round technical accounting knowledge, with good communication and presentation skills.
