A key member of the finance team, responsible for the preparation of management and statutory accounts.
Opportunity to play an instrumental role in shaping the finance team throughout a period of significant growth.
Leading organisation in the Healthcare sector, who have shown considerable growth over the past 5 years and are expected to continue expanding.
Preparation of accurate monthly consolidated management accounts on a timely basis
Responsible for managing a team and ensuring tasks are completing in line with month-end
Management and coaching of finance team members
Monthly balance sheet reviews to ensure team prepare detailed reconciliations
Reviewing and overseeing all purchase ledger functions, preparing payment runs and managing cashflow on a day-to-day basis
Audit liaison and statutory accounts production
Producing forecasts and business plans
Ad hoc project work
Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) - minimum 1 year post qualification experience ideally in industry
Experience of managing a team and developing colleagues
Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
Attention to detail in all aspects of role - consistently produces work to the highest standard
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Able to prioritise work based on deadlines and importance
Strong personal drive
Proactive in seeking guidance when working beyond current knowledge or experience
An inquisitive approach to all aspects of role and willingness to challenge the status quo
A proven problem solver - proactive in identifying issues within area of responsibility, recommending solutions and in implementing agreed recommendations
