An exciting opportunity for an Accountant in Louth, Lincolnshire
Your new company
Our client, a successful and well-established construction-related business, based in Louth, Lincolnshire, is looking to recruit to the job of Financial Controller.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director and managing a small team, you will be responsible for the financial governance of the business. This will include the preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns, budgeting and forecasting, liaison with the auditors/bankers and management of payroll, cash, fixed assets and lease agreements. In addition you will be responsible for providing advice and information to the Directors as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ICAS, ACCA, ACMA) with wide ranging accountancy experience gained within industry or professional practice and be an accomplished staff manager. You must also be a strong communicator, able to work autonomously and not be afraid to 'roll your sleeves up'.
